This is the second smock, this time the fabric is a bit lighter than the fleece and has a knitted back (the fleece is plushy on the back).
This gorgeous thing feels like a thinner sweatshirt. The organic cotton (french terry) is wonderful to wear and it feels like a home.
I am not a fan of jumpers but this is my absolute favorite!!! And I am scouting for other materials and colours....as I can't get enough of them. Although it is heavier material than T-shirt, it feels so comfortable, cozy but light.
The cut helps as it is wide with batman sleeves and opened sides.
The jumper is made out of one piece, only the cuffs are attached.
The collar is doubled, sort of a cowl neck, wide.
It drapes absolutely gorgeously and every movement is freely and shapes the smock differently. The open sides allow you to put your hands in your pockets too.
It is sewn by machine and finished off by hand stitching in a beige colour.
